Living a Wholehearted Life: Transforming the Shame and Addiction Narrative.

Posted on

Addiction is a human condition, a condition that most, if not all people will experience at some point in their lifetime. Addiction can be summed up as a bond, an obsessive and compulsive bond that forms with a person, place, belief or thing. Addiction to a substance is often easier to see, but addition or obsession to an irrational belief or black and white thinking that results in a loss of objectivity is more difficult.

It was an honor to be invited to speak at TEDxRiverton. I shared my personal story of shame and addiction, and the message of healing our narrative through the transformation to vulnerability, connection, and empowerment. Please share the message that we are all enough.
